Game Rules

The game is played with 28 different double six dominos. The players begin the game by placing their pots. The amount placed on the ports varies depending on the location the players play from. The bet could be high or low as per the player’s preference. Once the bets are placed and finalized, each player is given three dominos. Each player has one-fourth option to pick. If the previous bettor places a bet, then the next bettor has the option to either do one of the fourth options like call, raise, or fold hands.

Betting is done in each round. If more than two players place their bets, then the person who has not been dealt with the fourth card. This is followed by the next round of betting. The second betting round has more stakes. At the end of the second betting round, players who do not wish to fold has to reveal their hands. At this point of time, the player who owns the best cards in hand is called as the winner, and he gets the entire pot. The cards are placed into pairs and pips are added together and the second digit is taken. For instance, if the total pip is 22, the number taken is 2. There are three possible hands. The 9’s pair gives the highest hand to a player.

There are high, lower, and double chances. It is said to be on a high if the pips total to 38 and above. If the total pips are nine or lower, it is said to be lower. If there are four dominos, then it is said to be doubled. Below nine is straight. If all four dominos are consecutive, it is straight. If there are three double and one single, it is called a kid. If two players have double, the one with higher double is the winner. If two players have straight, the one with higher straight is the winner.
